About me
My Name is Kerri Segal, I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian in Sydney.
I have close on 20 years’ experience in hospitals, private practice and as a nutritional lecturer. I qualified at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and became an APD and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia in 2008. I moved to Australia with my family in December 2019 and started my practice in Sydney in May 2020.
I am passionate about health, nutrition and exercise. My approach is to motivate my clients to be the best version of themselves. This is supported by one-on-one coaching and an eating plan specific to their lifestyle, exercise routine and health needs. My main areas of speciality are Diseases of Lifestyle, such as diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure, in addition to weight loss and nutrition. I have vast experience in dealing with fertility, pregnancy, children, adults and the elderly.
My journey in nutrition began as an extremely fussy eater from early childhood. I barely ate vegetables until I was 16 years old! My staple diet was spaghetti, crisps and lollies. As the cycle of life continues, my one daughter is a self-made vegetarian who doesn’t eat vegetables! Every day is an adventure of trying to get her to try new foods. So, I get it.
I love what I do and my greatest gift to each and every client is an improved self-confidence and ability to control who they see in the mirror.
